Has anyone considered adding a second SATA port to the M90Q Gen 2? There is an unpopulated pad labeled SATA 2 on the board, but I don't know if it's just missing the connector or some passives as well.

And you assigning those IP addresses to the WAN interface? You either need to NAT them, or distribute them internally to another router. ATT assigns private IPs using the DHCP IP as a transit address.

Can you not just disable the core in BIOS?

Aren't VyOS and OpenWRT also fully open source.
