I added a Gen5 M.2 PCI card to my MS03-CE0 MB and wow! Quite the choice in bifurcation options!

Confirming that R06 with ES QYFS and MS03-CE0 works. Also getting rebar now. Not seeing any side-effects. Thanks for the awesome support of this forum! Why are the BIOS so slow to boot on server motherboards is beyond me (after all the init stuff). I suppose it's not an important feature of...

Hi All, I have a Gigabyte MS03-CE0 motherboard with a ES QYFS. The BIOS is F06. I'm trying to enable Resizable BAR but I'm only seeing 'Above 4G Decoding' option and it's enabled. My linux is showing that it seems to be off for my Nvidia 4090 card. BAR1 Memory Usage Total...

Thanks. I realize that. Just didn't want to spend all that money before knowing the CPU was good. I may buy more now. They were actually $170 USD/64 GB RDIMM. I also didn't know if the memory would be ok. I bought them on Amazon from a new seller selling them used. But everything went smoothlty...

Thanks all for your advice. Finally got all the parts to trickle in and did my build last night. QYFS, 256 GB memory and MS03-CE0. Was a bit bummed out at first as I couldn't get a POST (no beeps, no fans, just flashing green lights on the MB). But it turned out to be a really embarrassing...

I ordered 4 64 GB RDIMMS and received 5! Will an odd number of RDIMMS work on an MS03-CE0 MB? I know the Manual does not list it as a configuration. It would be a 5 channel setup :-) If not I have a spare RDIMM for the future or I can try to sell it.

Good points! I received my MS03-CE0 MB finally. Waiting on the memory. Went for boring Hynix 4800 from the official QVL list since OC is not possible. I really wanted the Asus ACE but found it an odd couple considering that it's not 'supposed' to work. My day job is in DC infra. So I naturally...

My uderstanding too. DR is better because of interleaving. Even though only one rank can accessed at a time, the other can be used while one is busy.

I may end up with that confirmation soon. I just got a tracking number for my MS03-CE0 board. Debating on buying 4800 vs 5600 now on a pure cost basis since I won't benefit from 5600 it seems unless I upgrade to Gen5 in the future. Question for the board. What is the most impactful performance...

Manual of MS03-CE0 states max memory freq is 4800 for gen4 and 5600 for gen5. Is this accurate? Will it downclock faster jedec memory to 4800? No reason to buy higher than 4800 unless for eventual upgrade to Gen5 Xeon?

It is a QYFS D0. EMR is nice for the future but SPR should still last me a while! Asus ACE does have nice consumer features and a $1k credit of Adobe Cloud. I suppose I could try to sell the Adobe coupons at a steep discount. $1k CAD it seems...

Anyone here actually running on MS03-CEO? I'm still debating waiting for my back-ordered MS03-CEO (without knowing when) vs Asus W790-ACE which I can get in a few days time from Amazon. Both around the same price.

Also for CUDA - NVDIA - everyone develops AI tooling with CUDA as the default. If you want to use AMD or Intel GPUs, you have to refactor and reconfig away from CUDA with other librairies or packages to override it. In can be a PITA. A lot of people don't realize that CUDA is 18 years old and...
