Seems like there's a small sale on the Minisforum Ms-01 12th gens on their site now.

The system usually takes 1 or 2 minutes for the first boot up due to memory training.

Small update for the i5-12600H. 18.6w idle usage on Proxmox with no VMs or LXCs running. 96gb ram, pm9a3 3.84tb u.2 and 2 x 2.5gb connected. Nothing disabled in bios.

The left most slot is the u.2/m.2 combo port. A u.2 converter would have come in the box.

I'll have to disagree. Cooling could be better but isn't flawed. There are many tiny/micro/mini homelabbers here at STH and we run basically the same form factor as the ms-01 and our machines are running fine for years.

I'll be using PTM7950 in mine when it arrives although I have some liquid metal lying around. Has anyone tried that yet?

Just curious, why the change from the Supermicro to the Mellanox?
