Yeah I have used forwarders too, rough calculation that after shipping and import duties I'd be paying £350 a drive which isn't a *great* bargain. NVME prices seem to be going up though
Apparently the firmware locks them to pcie gen 3 speeds, maybe this can be flashed?
Still an amazing deal and the seller said the drives are nearly brand new.

Sometimes these slimsas cables don't work properly because they only support SATA and not pcie 4.0
What's the best value SAS3 chassis for 40+ disks? Something modern, not too power hungry, well supported and has remote IPMI to turn off/on?
CSE-847E1C-R1K23JBOD fits the bill but is £1500, anything better value out there?

I'm not sure supermicro are shipping the chassis either at the moment and are only shipping full system builds. That is what I've heard anyway.
Plus the chassis is about $1200 alone which I'd rather not spend if I can avoid it. Backplane is only $400.
I paid £80 a stick for 64GB 3200MHz about 2 weeks ago (seller is out of stock, sorry). There are much better deals.
