So I have finally setup a m720q tiny to replace an old R210ii, with my ATT fiber line.
I wanted to share this info for anyone who wants to move to a m720q tiny who has 2.5/5/10gb AT&T fiber line.
I have AT&T 2.5gb fiber.
The ATT BWG320 is the fiber modem I have to use, which has a 5GB rj45...
Why does the Lenovo m720q tiny spec sheet list that it does then?
4096x2160@24Hz(onboard HDMI),
4096x2304@60Hz(DP),
2048x1536@50Hz(VGA),
*****4096x2304@60Hz(USB-C)*****

I picked up a USB-C to Display Port cable that Lenovo says it supports for the m720q tiny.
I cannot get it to work. Hardware manager shows its connected but the USB port 'Port Reset Failed'.
No option to enable video output on settings.
What am i missing here? all drivers latest, bios etc...
Hi guys, so have an m720q up and running, however i didnt realize the HDMI port is limited to 24hz.
Is anyone running this with multiple monitors? what is the best way to achieve this?
I have 2x LG 4k monitors that support 4k 60hz. The one connected to DP is fine, but im not sure the best way...
also, not sure if anyone is interested but the 2 way PSU splitter to power 2x tinys from 1 PSU is 40% off at lenovo right now for $15 with free shipping.
Hey there, what baffle (if any) did you use in this instance?
I run an x710-T2 (not the DA2) - i think they are the same dimensions... and im wondering if i can fit it into my m720q (arriving soon).
It should, but im not sure on the baffle? the reference guide at the front has 3d printed ones...
Its Intel. has the authentic sticker on it. PN is X710T2LBLK
Honestly, i have minor issues with my internet that i wonder if its related to the x710. So im tempted to try the 520 that you recommended since its insexpensive. Im not sure why i didnt go x5 years ago, maybe i just thought bigger...
Copper for this device as it connects to my BGW320 which only has RJ45 @ 5gb.
The connection to my switch can either be copper or fiber, it has both.
This is a very good suggestion. I was just stuck on trying to get my x710-t2l to fit into something since it was expensive, but it may be...
Hello,
Does the Lenovo x550-t2 support 2.5 and 5 gb?
Intel ark spreadsheet says yes (for the x550-t2 spec) but Lenovo website just says 10gb.
I have a x710-t2l that is 7" long, so I don't think will fit.
Trying to find a NIC that will fit that supports 5gbp connection to my ATT box.
Hi guys, i just came across this as i am researching how to upgrade my dell r210ii that i use as my router. I really wanted to lower the power consumption.
It seems perfect, except - my router is running an intel X710-T2. Because my internet is through ATT fiber, its 5gb connection to the main...
