I have created ZFS Filesystems as shown below (status after reboot):
It looks fine here, but both 'tank2/Data/Movies' and 'tank2/Data/Test' child data sets (encryption inherited) are NOT mounted after reboot, parent data set 'tank2/Data' is mounted, ''tank2/Testnoenc' too.
time to mention what my experiences are with Linux, CentOS 7.6 (1804) to mount SMB Shares from OmniOSce v11 r151028r based Storage:
# mount -t cifs //tanker/staff /mnt/ -o user=user,domain=domain,sec=ntlmv2
Password for user@//tanker/staff: ********
Hi @gea ,
after my complete data loss on storage pool the ZFS Filesystems replicated back from Backup System fine.
The question now arising:
Can I use the "old" source file system on backup server as the replication target for the new replication of the same file system on storage to backup...
Coming from Napp-it SuperStorage Server 6048R-E1CR36L Performance and after 3 years working fine, this is what my data pool currently looks like:
# cat /etc/release
OmniOS v11 r151028o

OS: OmniOS 5.11 omnios-r151018-ae3141d April 2016
Napp-it: 16.07 PRO
Isn't entirely napp-it related, but lets summarize:
When I try to join my fresh Windows 2012R2 domain via Services -> SMB -> Active Directory it fails with:
Joining home.lan ... this may take a minute ...
failed to join...
Where it comes from?

I have extended my /etc/mail/aliases with:
The domain.org mail server rejected, because the local mta isn't configured:

I would like to share our new storage server build configuration associated with my question, whether the performance meets the expectations:
(like build example 2.5 from here: Napp-it storageserver build examples)

have someone any experiences to walk through a OmniOS setup that’s authenticate the user against LDAP server?

On the Wiki its in the ToDo list.
"format" shows all my disks connected to the LSI SAS3008 HBA in IT-Mode, but the sas3ircu tool doesn't find the controller:
