Decided to get rid of one of my SuperMicro JBOD trays. Its 3u with sas2 backplane with built in expander so only one SAS cable is needed. This has the SM jbod card already installed. Also including 18x HGST (more if I can find them) 4tb. Had been using this as a scratch array.. running raidz3...
FWIW - this was my drive - I've accepted the Ebay return of course. Yes - I did NOT list that these things run hot, that was my oversite as for those who work with these things daily just know and assume these things. The HP servers these were slotted in had 8x fans pulling air across 6x NVME...
No link - I had to do a LOT of scouring myself to find specs- I too was hesitant buying these kind of blindly - they are NOT as fast as my 1725b's but they are larger capacity.. - I know I bought 3x to test.. then the other 6x after. The best I was able to do was use (partial) part numbers...
FWIW - When I bought drives I was able to find specs on the OEM for the 3.84tb ones - From my tests the first section numbers seemed to be reasonable accurate for the larger 7.68tb one I have.
