Yes, absolutely. In fact, I was planning on doing this with ConnectX-3 dual 1 GbE (or 10 GbE) Ethernet and 40 Gb/s Infiniband HCA cards.

I love the large number of slots on the X10SRi-F board and I plan to mount it in an ATX or E-ATX tower chassis and add dGPU, audio card (yes, I like these), and other cards. Considering that:

This is exactly the kind of thing I want whenever I see a workstation board that is near perfect but has no BMC. I wonder if the OpenBMC project thinks that a libre implementation of an IPMI BMC/IPMI interface is possible. Gonna ask them now.
