G.Skill Rip Jaws 2x16GB 3200MHz is running fine at 2933.

My board from CWWK arrive a day early. It was able to power on and get straight into the BIOS. That confirms that the Topton board was faulty. I've already filed the dispute claim, so hopefully that goes through ok.

I immediately went and searched aliexpress for those MBs when I saw that kickstarter last week. Nothing yet, but if they do get made I'll for sure buy at least one of the 4 options.

They are both Crucial 2x8GB 3200. I bought a new set expressly for this board and the other set has been in use in a NUC for quite a while. I ordered some Corsair and GSkill so-dimms that should be arriving today.

I've tried shorting JBAT and I've tried leaving the battery out. I appreciate all the suggestions. I've got decades of experience, so I'm either doing something stupid or I have a bad board. At this point I think I'll be waiting until after Chinese New Year to get a new board.

This is interesting. I got a Topton board today and wasn't able to get it to power on. I have the same 2x8GB Crucial SO-DIMMs, but was using an Optane SSD. I'll give different SSDs a try. Edit: No difference for me with a Crucial P3 SSD.

Tried single so-dimm, tried both slots. Are there any leds on the board? I had zero indication of power.

Silverstone FX350-G, this is the power supply that I was planning on using. When that didn't work I tried a Corsair SF750 that my son had around as a spare. Yes, 24 pin and 4 pin were both connected.

My board arrived today, but I can't get it to power up. I've tried 2 different power supplies. Any ideas before I contact Topton?

I'm still waiting for my board to ship, but compiling the rest of the parts in the meantime. Can someone confirm whether the case fan header is 3 pin or 4 pin? From the pictures I've seen it appears to be 3 pin.

Do you know anything about the firmware of the cards? Are they locked to only work with specific Dell servers or will they work with any MBs?

I'd love to see a C5000 board with 2x2.5GbE + 2x10GbE. So far the only boards I've been able to find are Supermicro that are still listed as coming soon and don't really fit what I would want. Has anyone come across other offerings yet?

I just ordered one to play around with. What cases are you guys putting this in? I'm thinking of using the iStarUSA 1U chassis.
