HOW IS PACKET LOSS HANDLED? Upon packet drop, a NACK (not ACK) control packet with the specific PSN (packet sequence number) is sent to the sender in order for it to re-transmit the packet. I don't trust this is working fine on iSER. Or at least I would not benefit much over hardware...

GlobalPause on Layer2 for RocE for iSER is fine. As said, you only need ECN on Layer3. You can't run iSER on lossy connection. Or well, you can, but you will have data corruption.

On Layer2 GlobalPause is enough. You need ECN only for Layer3

Well, I would test it. You cannot use Quadro Driver with non-spoofed Grid cards. But if spoofed, I think it'll work.

You can do it on the Webinterface: Select your card, fill in the IDs - done

I see no reason why it should make a difference for spoofing the mdev or the dev itself.

Just passthrough it as whole device with spoofed Quadro IDs, no need for vgpu

I ment to look there for the PCIe IDs. There is a list. To match your GRID GPU to the corresponding Quadro GPU.

If you are using KVM you can just change(/set) the PCIe ID to the one of a corresponding quadro ID, then you can use Quadro Driver
