Weird. There was an error earlier. Now it's back. Is there some specs on the endurance? Anyone managed to get real SSDs from these Israel sellers?

960GB ones have 1400 TB endurance. And it goes linearly with capacity. MSRP for these is 550USD.
The problem is the dodgy Israel location. I remember there were people who tried buying 15000rpm SSDs from an Israel seller as well. Are fake SSDs a thing?

I also bought one (as mentioned in another thread about this). I have bought stuff from Israel before with success, but this is kind of on the edge of "if it looks to be to good of a deal" equation - although if he has like 50 of these he wont get them sold in a flash with $300 or so price...

Besides - isn´t this kind of a rare item to fake? Intel s37xx drives would be faster to fake/sell. I had to look up this model to even know it was a enterprise model. PayPal should protect (probably) if there is a issue.

I grabbed two of these, we'll see what comes. My experience with ordering from Israel has been mixed. Mostly good but I did get a drive once that was sold as new then showed almost 6k power hours with very little written. Seemed like an odd combination. Seller said there had been a mixup on the new/used thing and we fixed things.

Still looks too good to be true and makes one wonder where they get these from

As far as I know, MSRP on these is about $550 and on the s3710 $620 or so (going now on ebay for $175). So yes it is a good deal, but I don´t think this seller would have sold many at a $300 price point.

For all we know this drive is cheaper without tax in Israel than it is in the US due to market segmentation.

My problem with the US deals is that the s3710 at $175 turns quickly out to be around $275 when it arrives at my door due to high shipping prices from US to Norway and 25% tax on both item and shipping + $20 clearing fee from DHL/UPS or whatever.

Seems like mine might be stuck in customs by the looks of it. We'll see how that turns out :)

But, quite fast shipping so far.. positive

Probably, I´m not used to look at SSD data - so I don´t know if there should be other SMART data not on the list that I should grab. Sorry for the confusion.

Is LBA_Written always in MB? If so this drive really hasn´t scratched the surface of usage...

Picked mine up about a week and a half ago. 4000 power-on hours. 80GB written. 1700GB read. Seems like these were used to cache some static content.
