Prime day again looks mostly like deals on cheap knock-off Chinese stuff. I did see a few that people may like. Some of these don't start for awhile so this is also of my personal list of what I am watching:

4K TVs
Samsung 55" curved 4K $650 - Amazon.com: Samsung UN55KU6600 Curved 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2016 Model): Electronics
Hisense 43" 4K $299 - Amazon.com: Hisense 43H7C2 43-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2016 Model): Electronics

Racks (deals start at 1:39PM Eastern)
StarTech 15U - Amazon.com: StarTech.com 15U 19-Inch Black Server Rack Cabinet with Fans 2636CABINET (Black): Electronics
StarTech 12U open rack - Amazon.com: StarTech.com 12U Adjustable Depth Open Frame 4 Post Server Rack with Casters/Levelers and Cable Management Hooks 4POSTRACK12U Black: Computers & Accessories

1080p security cam $78 - Amazon.com : Amcrest IP2M-841 ProHD 1080P (1920TVL) WiFi IP Security Camera, Black : Camera & Photo

Batteries
Eneloop Super Power Pack $43.99 - Amazon.com: Panasonic K-KJ17MC124A Eneloop Power Pack for 12AA, 4AAA, 2 C Spacers, 2 D Spacers, Advanced Individual Battery Charger: Home Audio & Theater
Amazon Basics 8 pack rechargeable AA - Amazon.com: AmazonBasics AA High-Capacity Rechargeable Batteries (8-Pack) Pre-charged - Packaging May Vary: Home Audio & Theater
Amazon Basics AAA non-rechargeable - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NTCHCU2/

SanDisk - Amazon.com: SanDisk deal of the day: Electronics
I saw the SanDisk Ultra II 960GB for only $165 - https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-2-5-Inch-Height-SDSSDHII-960G-G25/dp/B00M8ABHVQ/
Also the 200GB microSDXC for $59 - https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-200GB-Micro-SDSDQUAN-200G-G4A/dp/B00V62XBQQ/
Ultra Fit 64GB for $12.49 - Amazon.com: SanDisk Ultra Fit 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive (SDCZ43-064G-GAM46) [Newest Version]: Computers & Accessories (internal boot drive USB for ESXi/ pfSense)

Either good or scary $35 120GB SSD: Amazon.com: Silicon Power S55 120GB 2.5" 7mm SATA III Internal Solid State Drive SP120GBSS3S55S25: Computers & Accessories
I don't know how I feel about that. Saving only a few bucks for a no-name TLC SSD. I'd prob get a SanDisk instead.

Cyberpower 1500VA that I know many of us use $140 - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FBK3QK/ only $7 more than the 1350 VA model.

USB 3.0 clone/ eraser
Startech HD Eraser $179: Amazon.com: StarTech.com USB 3.0 Standalone Eraser Dock for 2.5" and 3.5" SATA SSD/HDD Drives - Secure Drive Erase with Receipt Printing - SATA I/II: Computers & Accessories (maybe pick up one for work)
Also saw this drive cloner for $35: Amazon.com: Sabrent USB 3.0 to SATA Dual Bay External Hard Drive Docking Station for 2.5 or 3.5in HDD, SSD with Hard Drive Duplicator/Cloner Function [4TB Support] (EC-HDD2): Computers & Accessories

Unlike last year, at least maybe there's something to pick up.

$35.99 is everyday pricing on that SSD - the Prime Day pricing is going to be even lower. I wouldn't trust it in anything important, but it's not entirely no-name (Silicon Power are a known brand) and if the price is low enough, it's perfect to throw in this pile-o-crap laptop I have sitting next to me to make it way more tolerable on Linux Mint vs. the 4200rpm drive already in it.

These are Amazon's Eneloop XX/Pro competitors, which are currently going for $30/8 pack on Amazon and B&H. Great deal.

I would never buy Amazon batteries again. I had ~ 16 AA and practically all died around the same time of each other some used some charged and never used... the most usage some saw was MAYBE 4 re-charges.

Not 1 single problem with over 2 dozen Eneloops.

Maybe a bad batch (multiple orders).... YMMV, but for me Eneloops :)

Anyone here get the StarTech 12U open rack for $178.45? Just checked my watched deals to find this. :(
Perhaps it's a good thing since rack means buying more stuff for said rack.

One more item to note is that at least here in Canada they are offering an addition 25% off any of their warehouse deals. Was able to get a nice deal on a 4K tv which I am going to use as a monitor this way along with a few other parts I needed. Also saw a number of laptops/desktops in there
