When will you have your stock in eBay? 5% discount doesn't sound much when compared to what you have been offering for some of your products in eBay in the past.

For e.g. You have been taking $275 + shipping BO on the LB6M in eBay (If anyone have paid less, pitch in). But your offer price here is $348 + shipping (+ negligible 5% discount). Should all the eBay fee + PayPal fee etc should be passed to us as savings?

@DonJon I see Unix Surplus has the LB6M for $395.25 w/ free ship. No BO available and 74 sold. That r2 account you have at $349.99 1 left + $25 shipping. Is there another seller you are talking about? I can't see under $300. Maybe it's the same and they just realized someone else was selling lots at $400 and raised prices? Even at $400 it's $8 per port which is less than SFP+ modules.

We're looking at the c6220's + lb8 switches at work. Boss is out for the long weekend.

I was talking about r2disassemblyllc (<- click here) who is Natex.

I wouldn't put any equipment that is not covered by the manufacturers warranty and at least a minimum of next day onsite support in a company/production environment. Your milage might vary. It's not $$/port that's important, but how much the metal weighs ;). Go ask a car dealer how much even a brand new car is worth once it leaves his lot least when it hits the used market and the junk yard.

$250 would have been a better price (considering the same shipping rates). Glad that LB6M is celebrating Memorial Day. What do we need to do to get others in the party too?

How much will you sell a barebones 6220 for?, 4 nodes, chassis no ram or procs?

At that pricing though, just keep spares stocked and configured.

Not if they are mission critical. The time it takes to switch a failed equipment even if its been handled by superman himself would be considered downtime and system/network failure.

You can't have it both ways...

1st you say it needs warranty, and next-day on site... now having a spare on the shelf ready to swap in that requires <1 day is not acceptable for you either...

So you're just going to complain, and argue for the sake of it, ok, got it o_O

If it's mission critical then I would hope it has redundancy... in which case, and this one specifically a spare part on the shelf with a redundant network online/standby is STILL cheaper than the retail price + warranty + service contract... and would yield 0 down time, and just man-hours to replace the failed part.

It doesn't sound like anyone can make you happy, so why don't you go buy new, pay 100% retail, buy a service contract and stop complaining to a seller on this forum.. I've never seen someone attempt to negotiate this way...

I tend to agree, don't buy used for mission critical. However, any device can and will eventually fail. A capacitor could pop on day 1, or day 3650.
For all scenarios it pays to have a spare unit on site and ready to go (and of course as redundant a network topology as possible in the first place) rather than wait on NBD or even 4 hour replacement. This really low cost switch facilitates that easily, whereas higher priced devices may not enable folks to keep spares handy.

Oh come on.. I'm talking for the people in this forum and for all the innocents thinking they are getting a good deal. I know when to buy 100% retail and when to buy throw away piece of crap. If you think you can only comment and get a few of your buddies to like what you say better sit and watch.

They have reduced their price since I opened my mouth. If you wish keep it zipped and pay 1000% for used crap.

No one elected you to harass the sellers on this forum in an attempt to get a better price for "the people". You're talking crap, and calling the items "used crap" why you're even commenting is beyond me as it's clear you have no interest and simply attacking the seller.

What exactly am I going to "sit and watch" you do? Are you threatening me now because I pointed out your contradictions?

I have no need for you to help me not "pay 1000%". I have no problems negotiating myself ;)

I have also purchased from them. And I'm not here to harass anyone. You sound more like you have vested interest in this seller. But sorry I'm not talking for you. But the others in this forum except you who can negotiate yourself.
