All sold.

If you bought these do some research on Seagate's spec sheets for the 600 Pro. Seagate sold the 600 Pro with 2 levels of overprovisioning. I recommend overprovisioning these to 400GB or around there.

I have 4 240GB Seagate 600 Pros that I've overprovisioned to 200GB each and used in a RAID 10 array as an ESXI datastore. Good stuff, but I've been moving to bigger drives.

I got my pair in yesterday. I have some quick benches using CrystalDiskMark for a single drive and a Storage Spaces' RAID0 across both:

Single Drive
Read Seq - 490.4 MB/s
Write Seq - 452.3 MB/s
Read 512k - 337.9 MB/s
Write 512k - 423.9 MB/s
Read 4k - 22.25 MB/s
Write 4k - 45.61 MB/s
Read 4k QD32 - 326.2 MB/s
Write 4k QD32 - 345.9 MB/s

SS RAID0
Read Seq - 913.9 MB/s
Write Seq - 870.0 MB/s
Read 512k - 536.9 MB/s
Write 512k - 795.9 MB/s
Read 4k - 21.71 MB/s
Write 4k - 42.73 MB/s
Read 4k QD32 - 370.9 MB/s
Write 4k QD32 - 385.1 MB/s
ATTO managed to pull over 1GB/s read speed. This was with an i5 2400 and using the standard Intel 6Gb SATA connections on my motherboard; the disks were passed through raw from Hyper-V to a Windows Server 2012 R2 VM. So, these seem like great drives, especially given the price they were purchased for!

They were indeed HP branded. I haven't been able to get the warranty check on HP's site to accept their serial numbers, so no clue on how much warranty is on them.

I just used the standard Intel SATA ports off the chipset (H67). Might do better off a dedicated HBA, but I don't have one laying around.

I got mine, the drives have 0 power-on hours, i.e. they are new.
HP branded, Seagate's site reports them as OEM, but I can't check on HP's site if they have warranty or not.

Is anyone running these in RAID5?

I'm hoping the seller lists more - these would be perfect for what I'm trying to set up, and HP branded is actually a plus in my case since I'll be running them from a P420.
