Details:
This was my old NAS setup. I moved onto a single Qnap unit to reduce power/sound levels. The hardware was running ESXI and Freenas as a VM with passthrough. I just installed Truenas Scale to make sure it runs the software without issues. Since the system consists of two heavy servers, this is a local sale only. I am asking 1600 for full setup.

I may miss some details, but i tried to list everything accurately as possible. I also have the system running so i can perform tests or grab screen shots if there are questions.

Specs are below posts.

Dell R720 Modified:
The system was originally a regular R720 with 8bay 2.5 sas2/sata
chassis. I was able to source another 8 bay 2.5 chassis from a Dell R730 and add it in the empty space. So the first 8 bay chassis connects to the onboard Perc card for local OS installs. The 2nd 8 bay chassis is SAS3 and connects to an internal LSI sas3 card in IT mode. That card is used by Truenas. The idea was to use the Perc card to raid the OS drives, for either ESXI or TrueNas OS. And then use the sas3 side for high speed SSD for Truenas pool.

CPU: 2 x Intel Xeon e5-2680 V2 2.8GHZ CPUs
Memory: 256GB (16 x 16GB DD3 ECC 1866) (High speed memory) (MT36JSF2G72Pz-1G9N1KG)
Perc: Perc H710P Mini (upgraded card with bbu and performance cache-connected to bay 1)
IPMI: Idrac7 Enterprise
Card1: LSI sas9300-8i ( connected to bay 2)
Card2: LSI sas9300-8e (connected to Supermicro JBOD)
Network: 4 port (2 x 10G x540) (2 x 1GB i350) - This was upgraded to get two 10GB ports
PSU: 2 x 495W
Drives: 7 x HGST 100GD SAS SSD model HUSSL4010BSS600
Trays: 7 x Dell 2.5 trays
Rails: Included
Notes: I may have some extra r720/730 parts laying around which if i find them i will include as well.
FYI: It has been idling at 140Watts with Truenas running.

Super Micro JBOD CSE-836BE1C-R1K03JBOD
Supermicro CSE-836BE1C-R1K03JBOD Server Chassis 3U Rackmount | Wiredzone
SC836BE1C-R1K03JBOD | 3U | Chassis | Products | Supermicro

This was purchased new in 2017. I have all the accessories still in the box, ie screws etc. It has rails and still has the tape on top lol. Looks like the price of this has skyrocketed since I purchased it. Making this combo a great deal lol.
PSU been updated to SQ models. I have originals if i find them will include as well.
