This would be a good dedicated home-assistant zigbee docker stack. I'm currently running a converted Chromebox CN60 with Debian for this very purpose with pihole and unbound as a secondary DNS server. 6W CPU on this would be a little bit of power saving over the 15W Celeron 2955u. Although it's a bit pricey with that shipping cost.

Doubtful since the M75n Nano has CPU and memory soldered, and this seems to be the same with a slower CPU but fanless.
Thank you! Looks like a full review was done on the m75n too that opened it up too: :)

Sadly, the memory is soldered. If anything, this makes a good thin client, but I wonder if it really would be quicker than my Fujitsu with it's dedicated video card and 32GB of ram.

It did not include shipping. Ram seems to be soldered. Limiting mostly depending on what you want to run on it. Seems to be most directly comparable to HP T540 which has upgradable ram going for it.

I think that CPU is on par with the J5005 CPU in the dell wyse 5070 thin client. You're at a disadvantage with the soldered ram on this thing.

The J5005 Silver CPU is awesome - I am running 5 Dell wyse 5070 in a kubernetes cluster and it does not seem slow at all - so if this little unit is similar in speed its a nice little unit - except for the soldered RAM.

J5005 has 4 cores, 4 threads, so two more real cores and slightly faster - so its probably not comparable.

Yea you're right. I was just looking at the raw benchmark numbers AMD Athlon Silver 3050e vs Intel Pentium Silver J5005 @ 1.50GHz [cpubenchmark.net] by PassMark Software

I have several Wyse 5070 running as well. I love those things.

The J5005 is still the king cheap all-around performer in my home server setup. I can't wait until the Dell Optiplex 3000 thin client or Atlas Canyon NUCs with N6005 reach the current J5005 wyse 5070 prices.
That will be a solid boost in performance indeed in the 10w tdp segment. :)
