is my M5110e dead ?

Hello,

I had download a firmware to my M5110e in my x3650M4 ... and get it totaly bricked :
- not seen on lspci
- LSI_Preboot megarec does'nt see my card...

Is it a way to get it back ?

If lspci doesn't see it then pretty nothing will
Try other PCIe slots or a different computer but its not looking good

There is a tiny chance that LSIREC a linux app may, but unlikely
It can write FW to a PCIe address with cards in fault state but I've found if lspci can't see card then not much luck with with LSIREC either
You have to know the PCI address (that lspci would have given if it could see it)

Here is LSIREC, I compiled it for CentOS 7
And LSIUtil pretty sure its the Linux version

Thanks for this advice.

Unfortunatly the card is soldered on motherboard and there's no device LSI in lspci output... :-( Perhaps some IBM Technician has some advice on this good old server (there's 2 dip switches just near the LSI Chip) ?

I will do this test : I've got another identical server so I can found the pci address on it ... and try this software !

:-/ the soft has tried to open the /dev/pci ... and off course no handler on it RIP :-(
