Hello,

I am thinking about buying a SuperMicro H11DSi-NT with 2x EPYC 7601 and 128GB 2666 RAM as a fun side project in my gap year.

I'm wondering what power supply I can use. Does it have to be server specific or can I use an old RM1000i I already have?

Thanks

it requires an atx compatible psu ;D

Edit: atx describes which connectors, voltages etc. it's not a "form factor" for psu per se.
So yes, it should work with your psu.

Yes, your PSU is compatible, except the fact it can't show current power consumption, PSU status, and some other features that PMBus PSUs can show and monitor.
