HELLS NO. In fact, any ecc reg memory when noted properly in pc3 designation would end in an 'R'. To me, this is some generic cheap memory that this recycler is selling as a 'filler'.

It's not a bad price at 70cents/gb, but if you have issues down the road, it doesn't seem like there's any support past 30 days according to the listing.

If so, the heat spreaders seem to have been removed.

Clearly with removed heat spreaders, wouldn't have notches on top otherwise

Perhaps it is DDR3L memory, but not labelled as such? All the 16gb DDR3R I have, has heat spreaders. The DDR3L (registered) memory I have doesn't have heat spreaders.

I am 99% sure the labels are not IBM.

I've see both DDR3 and DDR3L with and without heatspreaders.

And they're all sold out! STH effect?

The modules in the picture do look like authentic Accortec. They make decent quality stuff. Had I still needed any DDR3 - I would not hesitate to buy those. The reseller did not do anything to the modules like some suggested - stuff like removing heatspreaders or making new labels. All they did was removing them from an IBM HS22 blade and listing them on ebay.

I've bought genuine brands for less. You can find them out there if you look hard enough. Hell, a year ago you could buy 32gb modules here for less than that per gb. I kick myself for not buying them too.

I don't have one besides something like '16gb ddr3 ecc' and then sort and go through all the listings. Although I only use ebay for pricing and have found the best deals on here and reddit.
