I have two HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini PCs for sale. They are fast, small, and power efficient. Perfect for a Plex server, HTPC, small VMware host, remote download box, or general-purpose workstations. These systems also features a front-panel USB Type C 3.1 Gen 2 port, Intel 9560 wireless NIC, and an HDMI 2.0 port! They measure in at just 6.96 x 6.88 x 1.33 in and 2.31 lbs.

These systems will accept any 8th or 9th Gen Coffee Lake CPU with a TDP of 65W or less.

I can best describe this thing as a "pint-sized powerhouse". AKA the "Intel NUC Killer".

SOLD, but more coming soon. Asking $275 shipped to the continental USA, each. Payment via PayPal.

These machines have been securely erased and freshly imaged with Windows 10 1909, activated via embedded digital license. These ship via USPS Priority Mail, generally within one business day of receiving payment. Prior to reimaging each unit passed an extended AIDA64 stress test and the built-in HP hardware diagnostic tests. They ship securely packaged.

Interesting... Can they handle 4k video playback?
Yes, although let me triple-check the part number of the HP Flex IO module that is preinstalled in these units. That is the little daughter board that has the optional HDMI output. I'll play around with one tonight.

Here is more info on those different Flex IO modules. The Thunderbolt one looks fun, but I can't find a reasonably-priced one. http://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/getpdf.aspx/c06042607.pdf?ver=1.0

The iGPU in these has full h.265 encode and decode support, and does great with the jelly fish 4K test files here: Jellyfish Bitrate Test Files

I find performance to be great, personally. Didn't try Linux.

The Pentium Gold G5400 is a 9th-gen Intel CPU, and the Intel UHD Graphics 610 is no slouch in the decoding department.

I ran some tests tonight under Windows 10 Build 1909 and can confirm these are great for 4K video playback.

I connected this up to my 65" non-HDR 4K Hisense TV and it linked right up at 4K 60Hz over HDMI 2.0.
I was able to play 140 Mbps, 200 Mbps, and 400 Mbps test files from Jellyfish Bitrate Test Files with no issues. I performed my testing using the built-in "Movies and TV" media player, and I installed the "HEVC Video Extensions from Device Manufactures" from the Microsoft store, which is free. The GPU did all of the heavy lifting, and the video playback was smooth with no stutters or tearing.

I also tried VLC, which seems to be less efficient on these systems at decoding 4K video. the 140Mbps and 200Mbps test files played fine, but the 400Mbps file had the occasional stutter, and GPU utilization with this file was at 100%. I only saw ~70% as a high-water mark when using the built-in player.

4K YouTube also works really well. I had no issue with playback at 30 or 60 FPS @ 4K, although the "Stats for Nerds" reported a few dropped frames at 60FPS. Not sure what's up with that, but it looked good to my eye.

I don't have a way of testing HDR support, but per the HP specs the HDMI 2.0 Flex IO card in these can do HDR.

I also had no problem direct playing commercial Blu ray 4K remuxes via Plex. I don't have an active Netflix sub or I would try that. But I don't see why it wouldn't work.
