Sun Oracle 1.6TB Flash Accelerator 7090698 F160 Card Intel SSD DC P3605 Series US $179.00

Edit: Deal is dead.

I think this is a pretty good deal, not as good as the one last May at $160 OBO auto accept but still less than the P3605 has been trending @ $200.00

At the time of this post the seller has qty 40

the bay listing says they also ship to EU, AUS, ASIA, etc.

Price was US $219.00 and the seller only sold 6 and today dropped the price to 179.00.

I have no knowledge of but suspect if this gets STH'ed the seller will raise the price.

I have never purchased from this seller nor do I have an affiliation with them.

I'm still contemplating purchasing a couple but I decided to throw this out here because I don't need them and my wallet would be happier with me if they all went away quickly before temptation gets the better of me.

Tried same drive in several HP servers (DL380/360 G8/G7), and several desktop motherboards - it works without any issues

I'll change the title to reflect the deal is dead.

It should work in SM gen 9's as a storage device. I've used it as storage in X9SRL-F and X9DRD-7ln4f and it worked fine.

It can probably work as a boot device in some SM gen 9's with a modd'ed BIOS but I have not tested that.

Talked with the seller. He said somebody bought all his inventory (33 of them).

Image what can you do with 33 1.6TB PCI SSD card!
