Hi, at work they are throwing away plent of HP 3PAR sas ssds (PN: 783272-001). I was wondering if it is possibile to use them with a HP 3PAR file controller v2 that I already own. Thanks

I don't have first hand experience with those disks (or 3par hardware), but it is my understanding that people here have been using 3par disks in non-3par configurations, so if all else fails you could probably use them in something with a LSI controller, and if they are free.... :D

Also before anyone chimes in about the HPE 32768 hour issue, I guess it would be nice to mention that the HSCP1920S5xnNMRI (783272-001 according to this document) (a HGST disk by the way) is not on the bulletin. But you may want to update disk firmware anyway.
