what do you think about total network hashrates after hard fork?

higher or lower total network hashrate? rigth now it is about 302-305 MH/s

will block reward (now about 2,14 xmr coins for each block) still be the same after hard fork ?

This clock.

Upcoming Event Protocol Upgrade for Monero (XMR) - kryptocal.com

And now that one shows a time of a few hours later than the one in your link. o_O

I'm officially confused now......

Well at least xmrig will automatically change to the new algo so i'm just going to let them run.
dont worry if you use xmrig v5.x or v4.x series. just set coin to as monero in your config.json.
dont set algo in config

and go sleep (if you are in EU) :)

Only a guess, my guesses are usually wrong. LOL

But.............My guess the total will drop for a bit because of the confusion on when it actually upgrades, see above for proof of that:rolleyes:, and i'm thinking about %25.

Then it will go up over the next few days.

How much I do not know, possibly alot because of the bots mining on hacked pc's/servers.

Now I have one issue my dual E5-2667 box is mining extremely low with xmrig, lower than dual E5-2650L's.

Xmrig has not like theses ES cpu's the last year or so. They have 35mb L3 each and only 8 cores and 16 threads each so I think xmrig does not expect that.

So..... I'll look for another miner. Maybe xmrstak.

RandomX is so strange.
I have 2 identical servers with dual E5-2678 v3, same Ubuntu 16.04, same kernel, same hashrate of 1170H/s with cn/r, but with RandomX, xmrig-5.0.1, hashrates are 3540H/s and 4470H/s respectively. I checked every config I can think of, hardware and software, don't see any differences, and they did perform identically with cn/r.

Nope, mining Loki they mine ~6800 H/s but on cn/r that mine terribly ~500 H/s.

Original cn they mine at ~1300 H/s if I remember correctly.

These ES cpu's have been rock solid for almost three years since I purchased them.

So I'm really expecting the to increase substantially on rx/0.

Also the has rate did not drop like I was hoping, some pools increased about %50 and some dropped to zero.

So I guess that means the ones that had a increase were ready and the ones that were not tanked.

Could also mean someone decided to fork monero and create another coin and continue to mine cn/r with gpu's.

Or some bot networks have not been updated yet.

One of my OC nodes was mining at less than half the others, rebooted and restarted mining and now is mining the same as the others.

@Klee.....i am just curious. what is your totall hashrate after the new fork? all of your hardware being used for the new monero algo....just curiousity...

~ 40-50 KH/s.

RandomX varies in hashrate a bit.

Three Open Compute severs, 12 cores of my Proxmox server in a VM and four pc's.

Two of those are my kids gaming pc's that I can only use when they are not here.;)

Looks like the network drop off was only about %10 and now its already back to where it was before and climbing.
