Do you know if these are going to need any sort of licensing or am I good for plug and play you think? (With connectx3 cards) Can't keep it straight these days..

There are a few threads on STH about these. There's no license per say, but getting the latest code can be a pain since arista doesn't support 2nd hand owners. Just make friends here on the forum. I personally like the "32S" model better since it also has 4 regular SFP+ slots. But yes, this is a great price.

DACs usually work, but non-arista optics will require the "unsupported transceiver" unlock code. Google is your friend...

Bought one, no onboard flash module. Boots from usb stick. Need to buy a USB DOM module.
