Hi!
the intel xeon phi is compatible for video editing and editing audio studio?

If I buy a Supermicro motherboard with two CPU sockets do I have to buy two Intel xeon phi or do I need one?
as I would like to make a virtualization computer with vmware to work remotely with other people using the same computer as myself and do both video editing and audio editing.
So what will it take?
An nvidia GRID K2 GPU
An intel xeon phi Co-processor
an nvidia gtx or rtx 1070 video card
two intel xeon scalable SP processors
RAM 64gb
2x 4Tb hard disk
is my configuration excellent?

Today's CPUs are better than Xeon Phi for video editing. Xeon Phi was for high-performance computing. I'd do Xeon W or Ryzen 3000 then get a RTX 2070 Super.

I would not do video/audio editing in a virtualized session

Use a simple high performance filer (best ZFS with 32G+ ECC RAM, fast 4core i3 or Xeon) for common file editing with 10G and a 10G desktop computer per user with focus on RAM (16-32GB), Disk (m.2 ex Samsung 512G evo 970+), CPU (a fast 4core 8th gen i3 may be ok) and a medium class nvidia GPU according to your needs
