powerline speeds are rated "UP TO". In general, I won't recommend Netgear products for typically poor software development.

That's why I want to see what everyone here is getting. If it's upto 2gbps but you actually get 900mbps to 1gbps then I'm fine with that for $61.

I have 2 of these and I'm lucky if I can get 50Mbps :(

It really all depends on the power circuitry they are connected through, and I would take basically any other connection type if you can make one work.

Mine are getting replaced with a fiber run under the eaves of my house so I can get 10Gbps :D

I've tried a bunch of different powerline ethernet products and none of them could provide more than 30mbps. I ended up replacing with a wireless bridge that I can get >200mbps through.

If you have coax run in your house you can try MoCA, it runs ethernet over coax.
