Snatched one, too.
Let's see what we get. There is no controller/HBA in the onboard port, just the integrated SATA B140i, so only 4 LFF bays will be active. I hope the other SAS backplane cable is included, too. There is some funky NIC in the FlexLOM slot, possibly with QSFP+. What is worse, in one of the pictures backplane seems to be missing.

True it was a great to deal, I will add NVMe drives to that I'm pretty sure that ML350 Gen9 NVMe 6 slot expansion module will work in this server (726551-B21).

You need to use separate SAS controller (either RAID or HBA) to use all 12 bays. The backplane has SAS expander which cannot be used with onboard SATA - in that case, only 4 bays are active.
You can use either P440ar (RAID controller) or H240ar (HBA) in funky onboard slot - not a standard PCIe card.

Guys, can you give me some advice please?

I can buy 2 pcs of e5-2658A v3 cpus for good price in Hungary (105W each, and 12 core / 24 thread)

I asked HP about compatibility of these cpu-s, they told me, officially they are not supported, but it is possible, they will work.

V3 intel CPU (information is based on Server-s manual) is working with 2133 ram RDIMM modules. What happens, if I buy 2400Mhz RDIMM ECC REG modules (2rx8, 16GB)?

IS it possible, the CPU-s and memory modules will work in the server?

Thank you for the answer!

Has anyone got it yet? My resets in the post test at 30%. The seller suggests adding a raid controller. But it is B140i, on which it should work.

I would update the bios, it’s ancient !

But I doubt that will fix whatever is wrong, and I assume something is wrong for it to reset at that point, I can check the next step on Monday if you want.

ILO was also not available, removing TPM has helped the server is already working.
I use E5-2630 V3.
