Dell 4x NVME card in HP Z420...

ok so I have a Dell 4x NVME PCIe card... this one..

with 4x 256gb nvme drives...

I boot Freenas and it sees 1x256gb. Card is in a PCIe 16x slot...

I am not sure if anything needs to be done as I don't see anything in the bios... for an HP z420... not sure if this Dell card will work in an HP but as said it does see 1 nvme..
I know this card requires pcie bifurcation

You need your board to suport pcie bifurcation, which (on Z420) is not supported.

right.. i dont know if z420 supports it. tried googling and nothing so maybe not...

I have Z620 and it definitely doesn't support it

just tried lenovo p710 and nope.

i have one in my Dell Precision T5810 and it works. too many cards in it to do a 2nd..

prob just sell it.
