https://www.ebay.com/itm/183783223339?

Asked seller to rethink his price increase. He changed the price back to 139$ one left.

==================================================================
Have some of these for sale myself but found some much cheaper in USA. Perhaps the seller can go even lower if you send him a message. These are B-grade but they have some better grades available as well @ 149$

Close to a E5-2680 V3, this OEM chip is great value. There are some motherboards @ 100-150$ supporting DDR3 memory with this chip making it a great value workstation chip, especially if you manage to get all-core turbo working on it.

V3's are dropping like a rock right now- especially now that v2 scalables are coming out.

Agreed, can't seem to sell my v3's very fast while for some reason unknown to me, my v2's are already gone. There was a guy in the for sale section requesting 2680v2 @ 130 but i guess LGA2011 systems are just too cheap for LGA2011-3 to work?

I'm really curious about the v3 boards that use DDR3? can you point me to more info about those?

Might as well post the info then :). Keep in mind if I remember correctly you have to use 1.35v ddr3... right?

I started to PM you instead, then thought maybe if one more person asked publicly...

He fixed the price. I think he maybe transposed his pricing on his "bent pin" one and this one. My greediness in asking him for a better price probably led to his discovery of this. Sorry.

Just read what you said posternutbag, that is very annoying.
Thanks.
Yeah, he was definitely doing some flipflopping at one point because this:

takes us to his non-missing-pin listing that you posted. Oh well. Looks like it is readily available from fifakingdom for $149, pre-BO.
I went searching before I heard back from you and found that chinese mobo as well as a weird looking one from our friend at central valley computers on ebay.
Inventec B600GG0 Server Motherboard Dual 2011-3 LGA DDR3 x16 Mini SAS PCIe 1x16 | eBay

I was probably going to buy a few to put in my RD650 that only has one 2683 in it now, but the thrill is gone for now. Thanks for the education!

The price was more than below going rates and you asked for a better price? Wow. Some people.

What about dual socket 2011-3 boards that take DDR3?? :D
There's that one I posted in my previous reply, but I didn't look into it at all. Looks a little oddball to me. @Sable is going to look into it for us. ;)
I am, I don't know why he's got a chip on his shoulder. I guess he got mad about your price request. B-grade chips are usually C- grade chips in my experience anyway.
phew. Made me do a shoulder check there.
