I can't seem to find any info on these, but they're about $60-80 on ebay. Dual socket LGA2011, 1u, either 3.5" or 2.5" drives. Runs on 110-240v, and is 19", not 21". I can't seem to find any sliding rails however.

What's the catch? Are they extremely loud? If someone has any and has some info on them that would be much appreciated.

(If this is the wrong place, let me know. I wouldn't post this under Great Deals because I know nothing about it.)

As loud as most 1u servers, so yes loud !
Never used these. But to me that seems like a deal, shipping would be the issue

The same motherboard (DAS2RSMBAC0) but in 2U case sells for about $50 more. The model number is QUANTA STRATOS S210-X22RQ.
The datasheet says that the motherboard supports v2 CPUs.

I'd probably prefer 2u, but I'm going to have to use a parcel forwarding service for international shipping, and 2u servers are much larger and heavier.

I've inquired with the seller about the shipping dimensions, and I'll probably order one or two if I can get them shipped reasonably.
