S1400SP4 and RMS25CB080

Hi Folks,

I have an Intel S1400SP4 and planning to get a SAS Module to expand storage. Looking at the RMS25CB080. It meets my needs and budget. Only concern is whether I will lose the PCI slot utility due to the size of the SAS module.

Can anyone tell me if installing the SAS module will restrict the length of the card I can use in the PCI slot? (The chassis is not a concern here as I am using a large eATX tower with plenty of room.)

I have a spare one at home I can measure height of if that is useful?

Page 38 of the PDF has the dimensions. The heatsink stands 29.3mm from the motherboard and is contained in the envelope 3" wide by 2"long that starts at the lower left mounting position hole.
