This is a mini-ITX motherboard that takes Intel G2 socket mobile CPUs. Unlike the AIMB-272 that had a big thread here a few years ago that only took Sandy bridge, this one can take Ivy Bridge. I just got my shipment and it indeed seem brand new with heatsink and I/O shield. For $40 it's a pretty good deal IMO, especially when you can pair it with a cheap $20 i5. May be a good alternative to the DFI box.

Edit: Forgot to mention that it has dual Intel NIC.

Cheap $20 i5? Where are you finding PGA988B i5 CPUs for that cheap? Best I could seem to find was $36

Search on eBay for the model numbers directly. For example, 3210M, 3230M, 3320M and 3340M. They sit below 25 and can go down to 20 from time to time.

Nice. Didn't want to assume it since it's by no means always the case. Also, looks like QM77 supports 6 SATA (2 SATA-3, 4 SATA-2) so using the slot isn't going to rob you of a port; I've seen that trip people up.

Quad Core i7 for these cost around 50 usd. Speed is compatible with modern day Atoms. And they consume up to 50w.
UserBenchmark: Intel Core i7-2630QM vs Pentium Silver N5000
Atom motherboards starts from 70 usd, but they are rare. If you have leftovers from laptop upgrade, it is great deal, same speed as NUC/BRIX boxes. I have one haswell mobile i7 from dead laptop on the shelf for 3 years still waiting for cheap socket g3 motherboards. I guess it will never happen :D
