I'm trying to permanently remove some fans from my SuperMicro board but it's being detected as a fan failure with the fans spinning at 0 RPMs insead of just detecting that no fans are present. To be clear, nothing is plugged into the fan headers anymore.

This is what my sensor readings look like:

You can see that my board is marked as critical, a red LED on the board is blinking, and my other fan in the system is spinning at full speed.

On a newer SuperMicro board I can "acknowledge" system events but on this board the event log has no such functionality and clearing it does not clear the critical state.

Anyone know how I can clear the critical status?
