Nexus 3064 or ?

I need to buy a refurbished 48 ports 10GB switch and i found the cisco Nexus 3064, there's some other brand and model to consider? any advice?

I've managed a fair number of Nexus 3064 switches and I'd say they're a great switch, especially for the current price point on eBay. What are your specific requirements though? That will really drive the answer.

Power and noise are the reason not to, otherwise everything else is in favor of I would say.

I have to install a pair of such 10GB switch into office.... so noise can be problem..... any good alternative and affordable price?

How many 10G port of each type do you need ?
Layer 2 only or layer 3
Do you need features of the nexus option like VPC ?

48 ports at 10G copper has to handle up to 4 watts per port or ~200 watts of potential heat.
Almost all 48 port switch are 1U in height.

None are quiet that I am aware.

So either less ports or SFP+ does also help.
