Storage Spaces Alerts?

Hello all.

Im trying out Storage Spaces on Windows 2016. One feature i cannot seem to find is how to get health notifications from storage spaces? For example if a disk fails i would like to get notified via email. Right now i have to go into the server and manually look at the health from time to time.

When using ZFS i use napp-it email notifications. How can i achieve something similar on Windows storage spaces?

SS alerts are in the Windows event logs. Any of the windows event monitoring tool will do such as SCOM. Or you can try the procedure below. Step-by-Step: How to Trigger an Email Alert from a Windows Event that Includes the Event Details using Windows Server 2016
