Hi,
I'm thinking about putting some of these in a FUJITSU PRIMERGY RX300 S8 and a HPE ProLiant ML350p Gen8. Because those CPUs are OEMs they are not listed as supported CPUs for those servers, in fact they should be just recognized and work as expected but maybe someone got a bad experience by not beeing recognized by UEFI or somehow beeing blocked by FUJITSU/HPE?

Any advice?

Regards

Hi
Beware HP, Dell and Intel M/Bs, I've seen this with Intel S2600CP boards where people on here bought engineering samples and were disappointed that they don't work, if the processor isn't listed as supported then it may not work. From what I've seen on here, Supermicro and Asus seem to play better

Well I'm not looking for ES/QS, it's an official Intel Xeon, just manufactured for Tianhe-2 (and maybe others).
But well then I will go for the 2697 v2 one
