Hi, anybody know of an affordable SFP+ 10gbt module that support jumbo frames?
My investigation so far (edited with feedback):

Mikrotik S+RJ10 (around $65): NOK. 1500 max
Mikrotik S+RJ10 Rev 2 (around $65): OK. 10218 max
Ubiquity UF-RJ45-10G (around $65): OK, 9000 at least
Edgeoptic 10G-SFP-T (around $65): ?
Optcore SFPP-T "Netgear AXM765 compatible" (around $85 on ebay): OK, 9000 at least
Fluxlight SFP-10G-T (around $150): NOK
FS.com SFP-10G-T (around $160): OK. 9000 at least. Need to set on a fixed speed, at least when used in a Mikrotik switch.
Planet MTB-RJ (around $170): ?
ENET SFP-10G-T-ENC ($375): OK. 9000 at least.

Planet XT-705A Media Converter (around $200/260 EUR): OK, 16K

any others?

The only one I’ve confirmed so far that supports jumbo frames is the ENET SFP-10G-T-ENC, but I wouldn’t consider at cheap at $375.

You can add the Fluxlight SFP-10G-T to your list of modules that don’t support it.

What size of jumbo frames on the ENET model, any idea?
All other devices I have that are capable of 10GBASE-T or NBASE-T are 16K, but I don't know if that's been more standardized than with the 1000BASE-T?

I’m not sure if it supports above 9000; I don’t have a switch capable of testing that. Doesn’t look like ENET lists the max mtu on their site either.

Hmm, haven't considered that part before, but does both the NIC as well as the SFP module itself have buffers, or does the SFP module rely on what buffer the MAC Layer provides?

Configuration wise you'd set the Jumbo frames on the NIC level, but I'm unsure if that is a boiled down aggregate value based on the NIC+SFP module combo, or simply reliant on the NIC itself.

By the way, FS claims that their EUR 160 module does jumbo frames. Will test. Updated the first post.

The modules don't have onboard buffers. That is left to the switch or NIC to provide.

FYI, I just ordered two of the Ubiquity UF-RJ45-10G. I'll test if Jumbo frames work and report back.
Jumbo frames appear to work with UF-RJ45-10G (MTU set to 9000, commands are for MacOS; do not fragment max size ping -D -s 8972 works; do not fragment max size + 1 ping -D -s 8973 does not; fragment max size + 1 ping -s 8973 works) on a Brocade ICX6450-24p between 2x UF-RJ45-10G (one at 10G speed, one at 1G speed) and also 1x UF-RJ45-10G and 1G port.

FYI, looking at the modules, they also look different than the Mikrotik module's stock image:

The UF modules I received and tested look like this:

Saw in MikroTiks newsletter that they've made a rev2 of the S+RJ10 which has fixed support for jumbo frames up to 10218 bytes, and some more improvements.
