EX4200-48T JUNIPER 48 PORT 8 PoE GIGABIT L3 MANAGED SWITCH WITH 2x AC POWER | eBay

Of all the Juniper EX4200 models, this will be the most power efficient. The 48-poe model uses quite a bit more power (even when not using POE). The larger PSUs use more power as well. So the 48T model with the 320w psus is the most efficient.

Unbelieveable how much these have dropped. Other sellers have similar pricing, but this is available in some volume from a known seller. I ordered 6 of these. Still some left and maybe they have more.

I confirmed with the seller that this does come with the 2x10gbps module included. Also includes rack rails and dual 320w psu. So it's got everything you need.

48x 1gbps switch with reasonable feature set and performance, plus 2x10g, for $150? Yeah, sign me up. Going to be upgrading our straggler top-of-rack switches to these that had been with 4x1g uplinks and weaker cpus. Now going to have these with better cpu, better features, and 2x10g uplinks, for basically nothing. Really looking forward to deploying a bunch of these.

Any suggestion for a switch with similar capabilities and lower power use?

BTW, You can save 10-20w by dropping to single-psu.

Not sure if you are watching the brocade threads where 6610 & 6450 are discussed.

Icx6610 Poe model draws 120-130w range idle. has 24/48g ports, 8x10gbe, 2x40gbe 2x40 -> 8x10gbe.

My understanding is that 6450 is very quiet and draws <50 watts. Lacks the 40gbe ports and has less 10gbe ports.
