Wow, before anyone asks if this is noisy, check out the screen capture of a system log in the auction. 6 fans all running at over 8000 RPM, at 75% PWM!!!

Gonna be a screamer...

It shouldn't be that loud, I had a G8000, G8124, and G8124-e and after the initial boot, it gets relatively quiet.

I've got the G8000 and G8124 and as @frogtech mentioned they do quiet down after boot. I wouldn't classify them as "quiet" but it's a datacenter switch.

D'oh. too bad I missed this one.. would have been a good complement to my current G8000.. I've got too many twinax crossovers.. really need to get a proper SFP+ switch :)
