I have one 800gb Intel S3500 SSD for sale. It works 100% as far as I can tell, I just got new drives and don't need this one any more.

This drive has 434TB written to it, out of an Intel specified lifespan of 450TB written!

As a result, I am putting this up for $65 via PayPal shipped via USPS from Oregon to the USA only. These drives are known for working beyond their specified write lifespan, but I have no guarantees just how long it will last. Please PM me if you have any questions.

When these do start to fail, what are the signs and issues? I have an application where there are many more reads than writes so this drive may be perfect for that.

Intel ssds fail without warnings :(
They will work fine until you reboot the system, then they will disappear from your raid controller or hba.

Yowzers! That wouldn't be good for my application at all. I'd need some advance warning for sure.

In all reality these things will probably go multiples of their rated life. I wouldn't use something like this in a mission critical server but if it were in a raid array...
