Plenty for a low power firewall. Since this has RAM and a big enough SSD for pfSense or the likes, I think it's a great price for a complete package. I'm still running one of these in colo myself. It's a bit dated, but for the 100mbit I have, it's more than adequate (even IPsec).

I would love to jump on this but the D525 does not support AES-NI which will be a hard requirement for pfsense 2.5+. I bet it'll work great with the current pfsense release though. Obviously you have other options than pfsense.

I have a handful of these iirc in Intel NUC systems, gerat for power using and still getting a nice gui windows I aalso think my current pfsense uses one of these chips, it's older and def. not aes-ni which is why I'm going to the C2000 SM board for my replacement.
