Doing this now. Odd that FreeNAS & OmniOS were the only OS with these issues. Seemed fine under ubuntu & 2012 R2.Have you tried wiping them (quick or full w/ zero's) w/in FreeNAS or tried reformatting using sg3_utils via the link on this site and then tried again? That seems to fix a lot of these issues but i may be out in left field.
