Anyone else upgraded from 6.5 to 6.7 and had issues with the html5 client? Did so today and found the following issue:

Can login to the web client and everything is working correctly however when I click on the "Launch vSphere Client (HTML5)" button I get a 404 error - page not found.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Running on a vCenter is installed on a Server 2016 VM, not an appliance.

nah don't think it is DNS related as the web client works.
Anyway I found that ESXi 6.7 won't work with any of the Adaptec Cim provider versions so I had to revert back to 6.5 U2.
Restored the vCenter 6.5 server and HTML5 works again.
Weird because the updater did not report any errors.

Tom5051,
I had the same issue and searched google and found your post. After I reviewed more search results I cam across this VM KB:
VMware Knowledge Base

It's old and doesn't really pertain to my exact issue, but the resolution worked for me. I was using Chrome 66 and just needed to clear all browser history data and now I don't get the 404 error after my upgrade from 6.5 to 6.7.

Hope this helped.

Thanks,
Mathew
