I was reading that after the 180 trial of Exchange 2016 runs out, it doesn't disable any fuctionality.
I'd like to run a 2 server DAG, has anyone run a setup like this in a home lab using the trial license key and after 180 days was any functionality impacted?
What is the drawbacks of running the trial version over a licensed version in a lab?
Cheers :)

Have not tried it but that’s also my understanding , it just nags you but still functions as expected.

Drawbacks, If it pure lab ? Then probbly nothing, if it’s running your personal mail for example I would think don’t do it, never know when MS will change the nag to disable with an update (not to mention breaking the licenses rules)
It looks like you only get a single license with the action packs with is for usage rather than testing functions.
