Hi,

Long shot, but does anyone have some broken e5 v4 cpus with 22 cores, they would be willing to sell for a low price? I'm looking to remove the die, so the cpu does not need to be working.

If anyone knows which models share the same dies as the e5-2699v4 that would be interesting as well (I would think the 2699 and 2696 model share the same die, not sure if there are others).

I can with paypal and you would be shipping to Minneapolis.

You would be amazed to see how few broken chips are out there. They are very reliable

These are best of the best IMO, I've only seen a handful since its release.

Yeah, I figured these or similar variants (broken) would be hard to come by.

Yes, very similar to that video. Using chemical etching can speed up the process, as in this video.
Doing this for no particular reason other than interest.

In terms of intel Xeon of e5 varity over thousands of chips in our DC’s not one failure I can remember , they really are surprising reliable.
