Samsung SM953 firmware update/OP

Hi all,

Just got a 480GB Samsung SM953 NVMe SSD, which I wanted to check the firmware version of, and configure over provisioning etc.
Oddly, when I use either the consumer or datacenter versions of Samsung magician, it cannot find the drive.

Has anyone else ever used one of these, and been able to get the firmware updated?

Is it an OEM drive ? Usually would use the OEM update process if I have a machine and consider that the last update ever...

I don't believe so, although I cannot be sure as I didn't buy it new.

Using Re-drive software has a firmware update option for the NVMe SSD’s but not sure where to get it or the firmware.
