Trying to find heatsinks for Proliant DL380p

Hi Guys,

I've been trying to find a supplier for these heatsinks, I'm based in the UK but unfortunately here there only seem to be 2 ebay sellers who are both demanding mega bucks.

Can I get away with putting any other generation heatsinks in there, it doesn't have to be practical or look pretty, it just has to work.

The shipping / import costs would undermime the cost savings. I thought Trump was going to make some kind of trade deal with the UK, that would certainly improve business for a lot of sellers on both sides of the pond.

Do you need for what CPU ? And how many ?
There is different heatsink for the higher TDP CPU’s. Also you have the fan tray full ?

It's a 12 core ivy bridge 1.8 ghz Xeon v2 that I'm guessing is rated at 95w although there's no way to tell. It has 3MB L2 and 30MB L3. SR19K C1 It doesn't have a part / model number as it was never released, it's a prototype.

I don't have a full fan tray so I'll be in the market for some fans too.

Ok with 95w either model heatsink will be fine.
I know I had some heat sinks for v3&v4 in the gen9 destined for the bin, let me see if I had any gen8 ones (and look if they are same as gen9), same with fans. May be out of luck though, knowing HPE it’s going to be different.

That would be amazing if you have some Gen8 ones, how much do you want per heatsink?

Still looking for heatsinks, does anybody know any cheap suppliers, if not what generic heatsink could I use in it's place?

I am in OZ, do an ebay search hp dl380p heatsink, but open up your search to worldwide they are in the US, for UK..18.02 pounds for a lot of two, 9 pounds for postage to uk, and 6 to 7 pounds duty..

when you search for spares for HP, is often better just to put the model number only..more items can be seen..

I only have gen9 ones, need to open up a gen8 system to see if they are same or even similar... let me know if you need me to check or you got them already ?
