I do not want to derail this thread.
I have to tell a funny story about mining and my wife.

Every time the fans of 2U mining server ramp up making loud noise, my wife would said that we found a coin.
I just node my head and agree with her.
Good one! But the noise of my C6105 bothers me as well so I went with immersed mineral oil cooling with my newer mining builds. I experimented with the concept 10+ years ago, but never really used it seriously until now. Now I have perfectly silent miners.

I know some of you guys had asked but with my 5 x GTX1060 system running solid for 1 month and a GTX 1080 Ti running part time, i've made about $350 in Ethereum. Not bad, if prices hold and difficulty isn't ramped up dramatically, i'm looking at payoff after month 4.

I'll have the 1080Ti running full time as soon as I build the new workstation. Right now in holding pattern on choice for new HEDT. Not liking the overclocks, power draw and Heat with both Threadripper and Skylake-X at this point.
