I’m doing some summer cleaning of my home lab and I’m retiring some great equipment that has severed me well. Everything that I’m selling is in perfect, working condition and has come from a smoke-free, home environment.

I’m giving everybody at ServeTheHome first grabs before I put these on eBay in the coming days/weeks. I tried my best to price these fairly, but please PM if you have any questions or want to give me an offer. I accept Paypal or Bitcoin. I also accept cash if you live in the Northern VA area and want to pick up any item locally (no holds for more than 3 days) to save the cost of shipping. Please note that I won't be selling the hard drives individually, but only as bundles. Also, I will only ship within the USA. I've posted all the pictures here.
    • Full Specs:
      • Quanta 2U Chassis w/ x12 3.5" Front Bays, x2 2.5” Rear Bay Slots,
      • Intel C602 Motherboard with Dual 10Gbe SFP+, Dual 1GbE with IPMI and VGA Ports,
      • Intel Xeon E5-2670v1 Octa Core @ 2.60GHz Processor (x2)

  • 1U SuperMicro SuperServer 5018A-TN4 Server w/ 32GB RAM (Used) ($500 + shipping)
    • Great for a quiet, low powered server. It makes a great, beefy pfSense server. Please note that there are a few scratches on the top chassis cover. Also this server does not include any hard drives, hard drive trays or a power cable. More information can be found here.

I've posted all the pictures here.

A DS2411+ for $1000? I have one of those and love it (paid $1500ish about 6 years ago), but a 6 year old NAS with a dual core atom that is on probably the last firmware version that Synology will release for it (DSM 6.1) is not worth that kind of money without any storage.

For ~$340 more you can get a DS2415 that has a quad core C2538, which is a whole lot more powerful and will have several more years' worth in patches and OS updates than the 2411.

Links? I can't find any 12-bay Synology for under $1,000 on eBay.

Yeah, I thought those prices were kind of high. A DS3612xs sold recently on ebay for $876 and an RX1213SAS sold for $800. Hell, an RS2414RP+ sold for $199 with free shipping. Obviously it's your listing, but I would suggest a fair price for your Syno gear would probably be like $500 for the DS24 and 250 for the DX12. The DS10, that thing maybe $200..
