It's one of the nicer dual socket lag 2011 boards that would be great for a couple of e5-2670 v1's or the like, but I do not believe that the stock photo is accurate. The stock photo is of an X9-QRi series MB and would need e5-46xx processors as the 26xx series do not have the necessary QPI for more than two CPUs.

Here's one for $500 (USD) OBO if you really must have 4 cpus and the 500+ watts of Sandy Bridge heat they bring with it.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your wife will thank you for not blowing more than that board can be had for on something that will disappoint when it doesn't match the listing's stock photo.

Edit: looks like two people beat me to the punch while I was typing my response. But, I agree with their sentiment.

I got two dual-2011-3 sitting at home, but I doubt that I wanna go with quad-2011-3. I need more PCI-slots, and those big-mobos usually have 2-3 PCI and that's it. I don't mind something crazy like 10xPCI-x, 16 or 32 memory slots and quad-cpu. *can probably make coffee during POST with that board.

I've got 3 boards that have 11x PCIE that are 2011 2x CPU... you don't need quads for that :) just special size mobo and chassis, lol!

Still waiting for that quad v3 board... sitting on 4x 4667s! (In 2x cpu boards though! lol!!!)
Have you tried looking up kalleyomalley on EBay to see if they have any quad V3 boards? (though you may have to wait till end of product life to snag a good deal?) Cheers :)

They don't... And actually, they sell almost exclusively all Intel surplus---- oddly enough, Intel never made a quad v3 board-- at least not one that I have been able to find on ark.

I actually have a a server with an S4600LT2 with e5-4650v1's-- and while you could use it to make coffee, it's insanely fast, even by v1 standards. Cooling and noise-- definitely not a living room sort of machine. The case is a 2u and the way the risers and PSUs fit together is really quite impressive. (It's got 13 or 14 dual rotor fans-- bootup is like being on the airport tarmac.)
